The short version: you pay $9.99 once and get a lifetime license for 1 Mac, including all future updates.
These terms apply when you buy a license for FrameShot (the "App") from The Hangover Company ("we", "us"). Your use of the App is also governed by the License Agreement. By completing a purchase, you agree to both.
1. Who you're buying from
Orders are processed by Creem, our reseller and merchant of record. It handles payment, sales tax and VAT, invoices and receipts, and its checkout terms also apply to your purchase. We are responsible for the App, your license and support.
2. What you get
- A perpetual license to use the App on 1 Mac at a time, as described in the License Agreement.
- All future updates to the App, for as long as we publish them, at no extra charge.
- Support by email at support@frameshotapp.com.
"Lifetime" refers to the life of the App: your license never expires and needs no renewal. We intend to keep developing FrameShot for a long time, but we can't promise that updates will continue forever or that future versions will support every older Mac or macOS version.
3. Price, taxes and payment
The price is shown on the Site and at checkout in USD or your local currency. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where required. Payment is taken in full when you place your order.
4. Delivery
Your license key is emailed to you immediately after payment and appears on your receipt. If it doesn't arrive within an hour, check your spam folder, then email us and we'll resend it.
5. Refunds
All sales are final. We give refunds only in the cases listed in the Refund Policy, or where the law requires it. If you live in the EU or UK, local law may give you a right to cancel online purchases. By completing your purchase, you ask for the App to be delivered immediately and acknowledge that this right ends once delivery begins.
6. System requirements
The App requires a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 15 Sequoia or later. Please check this before buying. If the App won't run on a Mac that meets these requirements and we can't fix it, we'll refund you.
7. Warranty
We work hard to make the App reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We don't guarantee that it will be error-free or work without interruption, or that it will work with every app, website or display.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App or your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for your license, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you bought your license applies to that purchase.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which The Hangover Company is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
